I highly recommend this training academy. I had an amazing training experience from start to finish. I have attended other training facilities and can honestly say none of them come close to the outstanding training I received at Prime Academy. Vitamin B12 is an essential vitamin that has numerous benefits. Our bodies use Vitamin B12 to make red blood cells, DNA and protein. B12 also helps to metabolise fat and carbohydrates. Our bodies are unable to generate vitamin B12, and instead relies on the intake of dairy, meat and fish. Deficiency is common, especially in people who follow a vegetarian or vegan diet.

Unlike other vitamins, the absorption of vitamin B12 depends on a protein produced in your stomach, called intrinsic factor. Intrinsic factor binds to vitamin B12, so that you can absorb it into the blood. People who don’t produce enough intrinsic factor can become deficient.

Biotin improves the basic protein that makes up hair, skin and nails. This protein is called keratin. Biotin deficiency can cause dry skin, brittle nails and hair, as well as hair loss.

Vitamin C is an essential nutrient in our diet. It has many important roles our body’s immune function, including:

• Wound healing
• Preventing damage to cells
• Building collagen
• Producing chemical messengers called neurotransmitters
