Description
The aim of the microcurrent facial is to stimulate the skin and muscles of the face to improve the appearance of the skin. This is done by using a handheld device which have 2 electrodes on the end to deliver tiny currents of electricity to the face. The idea behind this is that the electrical current will build up muscles in the face, lift and tighten the skin by boosting collagen production and repair damaged tissue.
Microcurrent facials are not strong enough to cause injury, so they should not hurt or cause skin damage. However, some people should not have microcurrent facials. This includes people with epilepsy, heart conditions and any implanted medical devices such as pacemakers.
Microcurrent facial is considered a complete skin reconditioning system and offers benefits for all skin types.
