Description
Builder in a Bottle, occasionally referred to as “Builder” or “BIAB,” is a kind of gel created by manufacturers The Gel Bottle Inc. The gel itself has a base and primer, so in addition to strengthening the natural nail, it also nourishes it. BIAB is a nail-strengthening gel that can be layered up to produce a durable, lustrous finish. It is softer than acrylic but thicker than conventional nail polish or gel polish. BIAB can be applied on its own or along with extensions. It adheres directly to the nail bed while being cured by UV or LED light, which then strengthens the nail by adding another layer. As a result, BIAB is more resilient and lasts longer than gel polish. The typical gel manicure method begins with nail preparation (filing, buffing, and cuticle work). Then, using a thick bead of BIAB which appears rubber-like, it will be distributed side to side and dragged down away from the cuticle. After the Biab has been cured in the LED lamp, the tacky layer will be removed using alcohol. If necessary, the Biab can be filled or buffed. After the base is applied, nail art can be added, or if you’re simply the BIAB can be finished as a base with a luxurious top coat.
