Are dermal fillers safe?
This treatment is carried out by applying dermal fillers to various areas throughout the facial area. Dermal fillers have FDA approval and are proven to be a safe product which works with the tissues in the skin and its underlying structure.
Are there any side effects or risks?
There are some risks associated with any treatment, however all our treatments are performed by an experienced aesthetic nurse prescriber. The most common side effects are swelling, redness and bruising. These effects are temporary and usually go by 48 hours.
The risk of any other complications is low and will be explained upon consultation of treatment.
Will the treatment hurt?
Having an injectable treatment can often put some people in doubt, worrying how painful it will be. Everyone has a different level of pain tolerance; however, this procedure is usually done with minimal discomfort. If you are worried numbing cream can be applied to the area prior to injecting.
